Using our slimline exterior steel-look design these windows grace the upper floor of a flat roof extensions, designed with full height glass, giving fantastic views of the garden and surrounding area. Above the fixed panels are a series of opening casement windows, each customised with our slimline glazing bars, creating the period style with six small glass modules.
The opening elements of these are fitted with our period window handles in the cranked style and with clear glass, in contrast to the fixed panels below, using a combination of obscure and fixed glazing.
Designed to provide slim sightlines, great looks and maximum impact, Aluco heritage aluminium windows come with slimline outer frames and standard mullion/transom sections, not only creating the desired window appearance, but also the right size to accommodate these tall window modules.
As this is a new project, the frame heads also comprise trickle ventilators, ensuring the windows comply with current Building Regulations.

Every detail of the Aluco Exterior Collection of sleek and slim windows is carefully thought out to provide authenticity. The slimline glazing bars are flat in appearance inside and out, applied to specially-made glass units so the inside of the glazing bars aren’t visible from any side of the windows.
We’ve even ensured the window modules are carefully considered where a larger module connects to a smaller unit, with feature connection pieces giving a discreet vertical sightline just like original metal windows.
With the interior decor, fixtures and fittings chosen, these stunning heritage aluminium windows complete the back of the house, and complement the white bifolding doors and windows below perfectly. The intention to create a period orangery/conservatory in the classic style in contrast with the more modern features of the house elsewhere, creates a great combination of modern and traditional.
