Black Aluco steel look internal doors in Surrey, to a four-bedroom home
Adding timeless style to a detached house in Surrey, the project comprised reconfiguring the ground floor space whereby the downstairs area was reconfigured and moving the kitchen to the front of the property. Designed with genuine flair and an eye for detail by Emma Merry to create a family home, the result is transformational.
Interior Doors
Separating the former dining room, now the new kitchen from the hallway is a set of Aluco internal doors, designed with a double door set and smaller side panels. Our premium aluminium profiles are coated in the desirable and popular matt black finish,
Opening inwards, the primary door on the right-hand side opens into the kitchen, with the secondary door available when required to connect the new kitchen to the stylish hallway. The secondary leaf is secured by hidden flush bolts, securing the bottom and top of the door in the frame and the floor. At the same time, the design of our steel look doors in Surrey ensures a seamless and smooth flow between the kitchen and hallway with the floors running through uninterrupted and without any threshold.
Two horizontal glazing bars are set off the doors perfectly in each panel, lining through perfectly with the side panels. Slim frames, a gorgeous colour finish, safety glass and a stylish colour-matched handle, set into the distinctive feature lock backplate.

Emma says in her blog that the two windows at the front of the mock-Tudor house reminded her of Liberty’s department store in London. Complementing the steel look internal doors in Surrey are the windows we’ve worked with Emma to recreate and replicate the original windows as much as possible. The kitchen window is crafted in a bronze powder-coated finish and features leaded top lights, with two top-hung opening out smaller casement windows. Below are two larger fixed panels and outward opening side-hung vents.
