If you have a more standard room, an Aluco internal room divider can divide the space into two separate zones. Larger rooms may benefit from a corner or rectangular design. All our room dividers can be designed as a corner arrangement as one example.
Also important when thinking about the design are the room divider doors. You can choose from a single door, a double door placed centrally or offset, or more than one door set within the room divider, sizes permitting. Other options with integrating an internal door are:
- 20mm or 25mm glazing bars.
- 33mm door transoms.
- Standard or deep door bottom rails.
- A choice of door handle styles and colours.
- Option door accessories for comfort or function.
The next design consideration is how you want your screens to look. The mullions, transoms and glazing bars can create the desirable multi-panel effect of the steel look in either large or small glass panels. An Aluco fixed screen or side panel can be made as narrow as 260mm and as wide as the glass allows, which is typically around 3 metres in one pane. We can also create fixed screens coupled together at up to 6 metres wide or more for commercial spaces. The maximum height for an unsupported screen is 3 metres.
