A key element in achieving the desired look and performance for the heritage style Orangery lies in the choice of glazing products. Our steel-look bifolding doors and fixed picture windows, combined with the clerestory windows above, have been carefully selected and configured to complement the Orangery’s architecture. On two elevations, our black steel-look bifolds take centre stage. One set is a full-height door system, opening out onto the garden, while the other is constructed as a bifold window. This ingenious solution brings fresh air and flexibility into the space. When both sets are open, two sides of the Orangery effectively disappear, forging a strong connection between the interior and the outdoors and making the space feel even more expansive.
Beside the main bifold door set, a fixed picture window follows the lines of the bifold window. Our approved installer, Sherborne Windows, has cleverly designed the bifolding doors with solid black panels in the lower sections, replicating classic steel doors.
