What is the Aluco Interior Collection?
The Aluco Interior Collection is a range of single and double doors and interior sliding doors designed for the inside of your home. Unlike our Exterior Collection, it is a solid aluminium system, single glazed and purpose-designed for any doorway, as a partition screen, room divider or a complete glass room within a larger space, commercial building or office. Internal doors include a slim outer frame with no threshold below, letting floors run clear and uninterrupted.
Are Aluco steel look doors double glazed?
Double glazing is usually not required like most interior doors on the market. The Aluco Exterior collection can be used if you would prefer double-glazed doors and screens because of specific acoustic or other requirements. Contact us for product advice.
Are steel doors cheaper than aluminium?
You will find steel interior doors always more expensive than aluminium due to the nature of the materials, its fully welded construction and many other factors. Are steel look doors soundproof?
Aluminium internal doors usually don’t come with soundproofing. However, we can offer 6.8mm single glazed clear acoustic glass, improving the product considerably. Contact us for more information on our doors and suitable glass options.
Do your sliding doors need a bottom track?
No. Our doors are designed to hang from the top, leaving floors completely clean and free with no interruption to your wood, carpet, tiles or other flooring material.
What are your standard colours?
We provide RAL 7016 – Anthracite Grey & Matt Black RAL 9005 – an other RAL colour can be accommodated at additional cost.
